Hot Air Balloons

Begin your day with a serene sunrise flight, lifting off directly from the tulip fields. This 45-minute to 1-hour journey takes you to altitudes of 2,000 to 3,000 feet, providing panoramic views of the colorful tulips and the Willamette Valley. Upon landing, celebrate with a traditional champagne toast before returning to the festival grounds.

Sunrise hot air balloon flights are offered every morning of the festival (weather dependent).

• Duration: The entire hot air balloon adventure lasts approximately 2.5 hours, including pre-flight preparations, the flight itself, and the post-flight celebration.  
• Festival Admission: Entry to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival is included with the purchase of a sunrise balloon flight. 

For a shorter yet equally captivating experience, enjoy tethered balloon rides. These rides elevate you about 50 to 75 feet above the tulip fields, offering stunning aerial views perfect for photography. No reservations are needed; simply visit the designated area during operating hours. Tethers operate on a first come, first served basis.
